This weekend I took my very first solo road trip down to San Diego to visit Sunny! It was strangely nice driving on my own for that hour or so. And the drive there is really nice too! After getting lunch and chilling at Sunny’s apartment for a while, we decided to head to downtown SD with her roommates. And unless you’re 21, there isn’t much to do in downtown. The place is pretty, but its just basically pubs and bars. Oh and shopping… but thats not what I wanted to do. However, it does have a older charm to it. 

We then headed back to La Jolla and got dinner at a Thai restaurant. With kind of crappy service. But the food was good. Later that night, Sunny and I went to a kick-back with her dance group… its hilarious watching people get drunk. So basically, it was a fun Friday night. I left back for Irvine this afternoon, since it was pouring and I didn’t want to drive back in the dark and in the rain. 

It was a super short trip, so I have to plan a longer one next time.
